Regarding the Impermissibility of Actions Aimed at the Legitimization of the Kiev Regime

It was declared on the 5th of July that M.Yu. Zurabov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation was to return to Kiev where he will take part in the ceremony of the so-called "President of Ukraine" Poroshenko's accession to office. Other countries declared their intention to take part in the ceremony as well.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPR declared repeatedly that it considers Mr. Poroshenko as a war criminal who is personally responsible for the victims among the Donbass civilians. Any countries taking part in the legitimization of his rules thereby share the responsibility for the war crimes committed in the east of Ukraine, for victims among civilians, for the humanitarian catastrophe and other crimes for which Mr. Poroshenko openly and publicly calls his henchmen.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPR repeatedly warned that the May 25 elections would not be a step to peace but a step to war and new crimes committed by the Kiev regime. Our forecasts proved to be completely true. However, we do not see any evidence of the politicians who dubbed these elections "a step in the right direction" and thereby facilitated the legitimization of the criminal Kiev regime understanding their personal responsibility for the subsequent bloody and tragic events.

We would like to point out that in the meantime Mr. Poroshenko has not made a single statements that would be at least indirectly evidence his adherence to the cause of peace. On the contrary, he repeatedly promised to step up aggression in the east Ukraine and to use more powerful arms. In this situation, the participation of representatives of foreign countries in the inauguration ceremony of the so-called "President of Ukraine" is an insult to the memory of the innocent victims of a war unleashed by Kiev in the center of Europe and cynical defiance for all people of good will. Such ignominious behavior of high representatives of states must be condemned by all people of the world.

We strongly condemn any visits to the Kiev ceremony of inauguration of the so-call "President of Ukraine". We call all nations to appraise the cynical behavior of politicians who wish to shake hands with a bloody dictator as soon as possible as it deserves. We are sure that in the context of these handshakes the nations will not be deceived by any peaceful statements and calls to some "nationwide dialog" we hear since the 22nd of February, 2014, or by the hypocritical tears shed by the politicians because of war victims whose number is growing every minute.

The legitimization of the criminal Kiev regime must be stopped immediately. We call all the political forces and parties, all the states to express their condemnation of the facts of their representatives' participation in the inauguration of a war criminal, and to dissociate themselves from those ignominious decisions.
